Jeremiah sniffed, kissing Blaine’s cheek. “I love you. I don’t know what I’d do if you weren’t here…” He scooted closer, putting his arms around Blaine’s waist.
Blaine wrapped his arms around Jer, laying back on the couch and pulling his boyfriend with him. “You would be okay,” he said, smiling sadly. “I know you’re strong enough to get through this.”
Jeremiah nodded slowly. “Thank you,” he whispered, placing a soft kiss on Blaine’s neck. “I love you,” he said. “I’m sorry about all of this, putting you through this. Thank you for staying.” His tears were more silent now, but they kept coming as he leaned into his boyfriend’s embrace.
Blaine tightened his arms around the boy, at a loss for what to do. He felt like his heart was slowly being torn apart - it hurt, to see Jeremiah like this. “I love you more, baby,” he whispered, pressing his lips to Jer’s head. “I’m here, okay? Whenever you need me, I’m here.”
